There are over 700 events taking place around the country.

In 2016, more than 69,000 volunteers took part in Clean Up Week, picking up 60 tonnes of litter.

More than 71,000 square metres of graffiti was eradicated, 70,000 metres of roads and highways and 20,000 metres of riverbanks, lakefronts and shorelines were cleaned, and 251 cigarette bins were installed across the country.

It is hoped those numbers will be achieved again, with 5000 trees planted and another 300 cigarette bins installed.
